With summer heat soaring in many areas, lemons are a refreshing pick-me-up. So is a light and cool lemon pudding punch bowl cake. And it’s easy to make.
All you need is a lemon cake mix, instant lemon pudding and Cool Whip.
- Bake one lemon cake mix in a 9×13 pan as directed. Cool.
- 3 boxes 3.4 oz. instant lemon pudding/pie filling. Prepare as directed.
- 2 eight-ounce containers of Cool Whip or one large.
Spoon some pudding mixture in the bottom of a glass bowl or punch bowl. Layer with cut up cake pieces, pudding and Cool Whip. Repeat until all the ingredients are layered. Always top with Cool Whip and refrigerate. When ready to serve, scoop out desired amounts.
I’ve also made this bowl cake recipe with chocolate cake and chocolate pudding. Yummy!
