I found a free teacup template online and tweaked it for the preschool craft at my church. I added “Happy Mother’s Day” to the front of colored cardstock and cut a slit in the top of the cup for a teabag. Butterfly stickers completed the project. It’s so cute! I’m thinking about doing a teapot next year for Mother’s Day.

My friend, Bitsy Kemper, just won The Living Waters Award for her picture book “Best Friends with Grandma”–and it’s not even on the shelves yet! How amazing is that? I’ve been invited to a baby shower this weekend and the invitation suggested we bring a book instead of a card. I wish I had “Best Friends with Grandma” to include with my gift, but I’ll preorder for the July release. You can preorder too!

Happy Mother’s Day!

I’m always searching online for easy crafts for the preschool classroom at my church. This paper plate cross craft is perfect. And I have all the items needed on hand. Children will love creating these.
Items:

I’m also adding a memory verse scripture to the back of the paper plate.
Enjoy.
Have a blessed Easter!

When I saw a video of this cute Valentine’s Day doily envelope, I knew right away it would be a craft for the preschool classroom at my church. Instead of adding a gift card, I’m placing two snack-size candies inside. I’ll add a memory verse to the back and include a scripture card.
Supplies needed:
Assorted colors — 10-inch doilies

Valentine stickers (I had these on hand).

Fold doily, tape sides

Add two snack-size candies, fold top down and adhere with a Valentine sticker.

ENJOY!

I made the Andes Chocolate Mint Cookies for Christmas and since then I’ve had several requests for the recipe. They are delicious for any season. Great with cocoa or coffee on a cold January day and perfect for Valentine’s Day.
If you’re in question about what cookie to bake, try these first.
