A Poppin’ Father’s Day Craft

June 8, 2026

I saw a cute popcorn paper craft online and thought it would be fun to give dads a treat for Father’s Day, so I tweaked the preschool room craft at my church with real popcorn.

This is so easy to do. I found 8 oz. bags of popcorn at the Dollar Tree. I already had large sticky labels and a star punch. I also added a scripture to the label and a line for the children to sign their names.

If you’re in need of a quick craft, this is it! And who doesn’t like popcorn?

Have a poppin’ Father’s Day!

Mother’s Day Teacup Craft and “Best Friends with Grandma”

April 15, 2026

I found a free teacup template online and tweaked it for the preschool craft at my church. I added “Happy Mother’s Day” to the front of colored cardstock and cut a slit in the top of the cup for a teabag.  Butterfly stickers completed the project.  It’s so cute! I’m thinking about doing a teapot next year for Mother’s Day.

My friend, Bitsy Kemper, just won The Living Waters Award for her picture book “Best Friends with Grandma”–and it’s not even on the shelves yet! How amazing is that? I’ve been invited to a baby shower this weekend and the invitation suggested we bring a book instead of a card. I wish I had “Best Friends with Grandma” to include with my gift, but I’ll preorder for the July release. You can preorder too!

If you’re curious about Bitsy’s book, check it out here. https://bookshop.org/p/books/best-friends-with-grandma-bitsy-kemper/4b568a3beadfbb92?ean=9781956378474&next=t&next=t&affiliate=12317

Easter Cross Craft

March 11, 2026

I’m always searching online for easy crafts for the preschool classroom at my church. This paper plate cross craft is perfect. And I have all the items needed on hand. Children will love creating these.

Items:

  • construction paper
  • white paper plates
  • glue sticks
  • free printable He is Risen template from Conservamom

I’m also adding a memory verse scripture to the back of the paper plate.

Enjoy.

Have a blessed Easter!
