I found a free teacup template online and tweaked it for the preschool craft at my church. I added “Happy Mother’s Day” to the front of colored cardstock and cut a slit in the top of the cup for a teabag. Butterfly stickers completed the project. It’s so cute! I’m thinking about doing a teapot next year for Mother’s Day.

My friend, Bitsy Kemper, just won The Living Waters Award for her picture book “Best Friends with Grandma”–and it’s not even on the shelves yet! How amazing is that? I’ve been invited to a baby shower this weekend and the invitation suggested we bring a book instead of a card. I wish I had “Best Friends with Grandma” to include with my gift, but I’ll preorder for the July release. You can preorder too!

Happy Mother’s Day!

The craft is so cute and little ones will beam with joy when they hand them filled with a teabag to their moms. And the book you mentioned by Bitsy Kemper looks like one kids and grandmas will enjoy.
Hi Deb! I hope the children will love the teacup craft. I think it’s cute. Yes, Bitsy’s book will become a favorite. I’m sending an early Happy Mother’s Day wish to you.
Another great craft idea. A lot of grandmothers will have big smiles!
They sure will. Happy Mother’s Day!
