This being the last week in October, there isn’t much time left to enjoy the autumn colors and cascading leaves.
I had the opportunity to take a walk at the local nature center and snapped a few photos along the way.
If you haven’t had a chance to breathe in some cool, crisp air, or feel the crunch of leaves under your feet, try to make time.
Our lives get so busy that we often fail to enjoy the simple things that bring great pleasure. Sunshine kick-starts our immune system with Vitamin D, fresh air gives our lungs a boost, and a brisk walk lowers blood pressure. Not to mention how the beauty of God’s creation calms our souls.
Which road would you like to travel on this week?

Glad you took time from your hectic schedule to enjoy the beautiful walk thru nature. One of the reasons we decided to retire in northern Michigan. Great post!

I think I’ll take the road thru nature. Absolutely love the pictures and the comparison to our “hectic” lives. Definitely makes me want to take a long walk. Thanks for reminding me of the reality of beauty and God’s creations. Love you Ma!
