VBS Star Craft

June 18, 2024

Vacation Bible School begins this week at my church. Our theme is space. I have the honor of preparing a craft for the children.

I found this cute glow-in-the-dark star project. It doesn’t take much time and the kids will love seeing their project glow at night. Supplies are shown below.

  • Heavy-weight black cardstock
  • putty or glue to adhere stars
  • double-sided tape to adhere memory verse
  • Glow-in-the-dark stars

Set the project in sunlight or under a bright light for an hour. This will give the stars a heavenly glow.

Our Bible verse is taken from Psalm 147:4 (NKJ) He counts the stars and calls them all by name.

I also made cut-out star cookies and when the project is finished, we can all frost a yummy treat.

May all children learn the wonders of our Heavenly Father.

Have a great Vacation Bible School!

I love your idea! A simple but fun craft for kids and they can hang the picture in their bedroom and enjoy the glow in the dark stars in their room at night. The star cookies are a fun idea too!
