Tried and True-Chocolate Cheesecake

July 14, 2020

I thought I would share a Chocolate Cheesecake recipe that I posted a few years back. It’s a wonderful dessert for any occasion and a family favorite.

The card is difficult to read, faded, and has embedded chocolate spots.

Below I’ve typed the recipe for you to print. I sprinkled shaved Hershey bars over the top which gives the dessert extra appeal. Yum!

Chocolate Cheesecake

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup chopped nutmeats
  • 2 sticks softened margarine

Mix together and press into a 9×13 pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees and cool.

  • 1  8oz. cream cheese
  • 1 cup cool whip
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Mix and spread over cooled crust.

– – – – – – – – – – – –

  • 1  3oz. box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1  3oz. box instant chocolate pudding
  • 3 cups milk

Mix together and spread over cream cheese mixture.

Top with cool whip and shaved Hershey bars.

Sometimes a tried-and-true recipe is the best dessert to serve.

Enjoy!

The forgotten recipes are the best. Did you put this recipe in our “Family
Recipe” book we printed out a few years ago? I will try it soon. Keep on
    sharing!

Bonnie, I looked in the Family Cookbook and didn’t see it. Yes, it’s an
easy dessert for a potluck, picnic, church event, or company. I shared
it with the three girls. Thanks for dropping by. Pat 🙂
