I found this neat Father’s Day craft/gift online. It can be tweaked for anyone. We’re making these in our church preschool classroom. On the back, we’re including a Bible verse.
This craft would make a wonderful graduation gift. Just create a tie in your student’s school colors. Add your monetary gift. You can also gift dad with the same.
Supplies needed:
- small security lined envelopes
- glue sticks
- scrapbook paper
- candy of choice or a monetary gift
Seal the security envelope first. I used a glue stick. Cut across the tip of the envelope to provide an opening. Cut a one-inch slice into the front of the envelope and fold down the collar. I created a sample tie.
Insert item of choice into the envelope.
Happy Father’s Day!

This looks easy for kids to make for their dads and it won’t cost much. I have these items in my home so I can make it with grandkids. Thanks for the fun idea, Pat!
