For two years, I’ve tried to grow the night-blooming moonflower. If this year’s attempt at the sweet-scented flower takes root, I’ll share the results in my May post. I hope to gift these beautiful climbers as Mother’s Day presents to family and friends.
I soaked the seeds overnight and planted them in seed starter pots filled with moist potting soil. I covered the pots with plastic and after the seeds sprout, I’ll remove it. Next, I stationed them near a sunny window. When they’ve grown a few inches high and the fear of frost is gone, I’ll transplant the seedlings outdoors.
